SKE087 31807f37bf Cleanup repo + harden offline install and watchdog 
Repo hygiene:
- Remove dead scripts (.wait-for-display, .display-keepalive, .keep-screen-alive)
- Remove stale backup/scratch (install.sh.bak, New.txt, stale .pyc)
- Stop tracking machine-specific/generated state (config/app_config.json,
  playlists/server_playlist.json, src/player_auth.json, generated launchers)
- Prune duplicate wheel versions (one per package)
- Reorganize working_files -> dev/, dev/tests/, documentation/dev-notes/, scripts/
- Extend .gitignore; fix no-op rules in repo/.gitignore

Offline install (install.sh):
- Non-fatal system-dep step; per-package apt retry; .deb bundle install
- Skip pip self-upgrade offline; guard online fallbacks behind connectivity probe
- Dependency-free fetch_url (curl/wget/urllib); --no-reboot flag
- Fix corrupted literal backslash-bang escapes (shebangs, test -f, banner)
- Idempotent cron install (no more stacked @reboot lines)

Autostart / watchdog:
- start.sh: single-instance flock lock (.player_watchdog.lock) acquired only
  after a display is confirmed, preventing parallel watchdogs
- Set XDG_RUNTIME_DIR when missing; exit early if headless
- run_player.sh: activate .venv; stop_player.sh: clear lock file

SKE087 fb9f46a94f Fix ffpyplayer offline wheel and update install scripts 
- Rebuilt evdev wheel for cp313 aarch64 (was missing from repo)
- Updated install.sh: add --system-site-packages to venv, verify imports
- Updated start.sh: activate .venv before running player
- Updated run_player.sh: activate .venv before running player
- Added pip fallback for kivy/ffpyplayer if apt/pip install misses them

SKE087 9d8eb0cf21 Fix Python 3.13 compatibility and installation issues 
- Replaced all cp311 wheels with cp313 wheels for Python 3.13 compatibility
- Added new dependency wheels: aiohappyeyeballs, evdev, ffpyplayer
- Rebuilt install.sh with virtual environment + offline wheel installation
- Added --sudo-user/-U and --sudo-password/-W CLI arguments
- Added run_sudo() helper to avoid password prompts during installation
- Fixed 'Setting Up Player Directories' hang (cat->stdin) by using touch
- Updated start.sh to activate virtual environment before running player
- Updated run_player.sh to activate virtual environment
- Removed old cp311 incompatible wheels
- Added backup of previous install.sh as install.sh.bak

Kivy Signage Player 4ce41b7ccc Add offline installation support with repo folder and updated dependencies 
Features:
- Create repo/ folder structure for offline packages
  - python-wheels/ for Python packages (.whl files)
  - system-packages/ for APT packages and .deb files
- Add download_offline_packages.sh to populate Python wheels
- Add download_deb_packages.sh to download system .deb packages
- Update install.sh with smart online/offline detection
  - Auto-detects repo folder and uses offline packages
  - Falls back to online installation if repo is empty
  - Supports --offline flag for explicit offline mode
- Update requirements.txt with async dependencies:
  - aiohttp==3.9.1 for async HTTP client
  - asyncio==3.4.3 for async I/O framework
- Add OFFLINE_INSTALLATION.md with complete guide
- Add .gitignore to exclude downloaded packages from repo
- Document all system dependencies in apt-packages.txt

Downloaded packages:
- 18 Python wheels with all dependencies
- Total size: ~50 MB for Python packages
- Ready for offline deployment
